Abstract
Marketing research methodology remains fundamentally the same across all types of
similar problems, whatever they are in consumer, industrial service areas; whatever the
research is domestic or international in scope, whatever it is applied to product, pricing,
promotional or distributional decision or whatever the product category is goods or cars.
Specific techniques and modelling systems of, the Soft System Methodology, marketing
plans will vary to accommodate unique needs of different situation.
