Abstract
Based on Hofstede’s studies and cultural dimensions this paper intends to identify features
of multicultural management in a number of major countries in Europe and America. The
final conclusions of this study are to highlight not only the validity of the theory developed
by Hofstede, but also to show how national culture may influence specific managerial
behaviors in a certain country. The analysis made for each of the selected countries helps
see the essential features of the management model applied in the representative companies
and to understand how businesses is made, how organizations are run and how individuals
behave in society. So we can say that the management of a country is closely tied to the
traditions and customs of that country and any deviation from this rule is a mistake.
